Ginger
This year’s crop of Peruvian Yellow Ginger is juicy, tender, and full of flavor. There is not a rind on baby ginger, so no peeling needed. As the ginger matures, it begins to develop a bit of rind. As of January, this rind is minimal and does not need to be removed to enjoy the ginger. Our wholesale price for cleaned rhizomes is $12 per pound, and can be reserved in quantities of 5 pounds and above.
Turmeric-Sold Out Till Fall 2023
This year’s crop of Indira Yellow Turmeric has large golden yellow fingers that are tender and have a bold flavor. Our wholesale price for cleaned rhizomes is $15 per pound and can be reserved in quantities of 5 pounds and above.
Once you choose the week (or weeks) you want the Ginger or Turmeric, we’ll contact you about pickup or delivery options.
Generally, delivery to Chapel Hill and Durham will be Wednesday afternoons.
On farm pick up at Granite Springs in Pittsboro is possible Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
Pick ups on Thursday afternoons will be at the Pittsboro Farmers Market at The Plant on Lorax Lane.
