It may be winter but goodness is growing at Granite Springs! We’re busy planning all the delicious food we’ll grow for your CSA shares this year. There are exciting additions both small and large-like strawberries are back! We’ve planted four varieties for 2017. We’re building another large (30 x 95 feet) high tunnel to increase our winter vegetable production. We’re having monthly opportunities to visit the farm for tours, workdays and potlucks. We listened when many of you told us you miss your CSA veggies when we aren’t in session, so we’re expanding the season by adding 6 weeks to the schedule. We also decided to increase our share sizes giving you one or two more items per week than in previous years. We’ve always been careful about how and when we grow and we believe these changes will help us subsidize more shares for lower income members and pay ourselves a living wage. This year there’s a sizable discount offered for whole season advance payment of Regular Shares. All the information you need to enroll can be found on our CSA menu. Deadline for reserving your spot is February 15th. February 19th. UPDATE March 8th: The enrollment incentive has passed and was very successful, for which we’re thankful! If you didn’t take that offer, it’s ok because we still have spaces to fill in the CSA. We’ll continue taking registrations until March 31st. Don’t delay, enroll today!
