Mark your calendars for Friday, February 1st at 7pm , when Granite Springs Farm Community will host another house concert by Glenn Sheffield and Gabe Kelley. The one we had in November was fantastic, and many folks asked us to do it again soon. Here’s a link to Gabe’s website (http://www.gabrielkelley.com/about/) where you can find out more about him and his life in Nashville. Glenn, after traveling quite a bit, has settled in Durham where one of his passions is playing music to support the Lakota people of South Dakota. This concert is offered for donations (suggested $10-$20), but if you are short on funds, please join us anyway. We’ll gather at 7 pm and the music will begin soon after that. Come join us when you can. The musicians will play for a couple of hours, with a break between sets. We’ll have tea and coffee, and you’re welcome to bring beverages of your choice. Snack-y items to share are also appreciated. This concert is indoors, beside the warm wood stove, which means it’s a cozy setting best suited for adults or older kids who enjoy music and are content to sit for a while. Last time we ended with a sing-a-long which was fun for singers (and non) of all abilities! We hope you’ll join us and pass the word to friends who might be interested.
