Saturday marks the eighth and final week of the spring session of our CSA program. Summer’s 8-week session, beginning June 16, promises all your summer favorites: squash, zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, garlic, and so much more! This weekend, there is a little variety between the Saturday flock’s bags and Sunday flock’s bags. Please read carefully!
Everyone will be receiving:
* Purple Cabbage
* Pickling Cucumbers
* Garlic Scapes
* Snow Peas
Members who pick-up on Saturday will also receive a variety of Squash and Zucchini.
Members who pick-up on Sunday will also receive Spinach.
Sounds like the perfect ingredients for a stir-fry! Try adding a marinade comprising soy sauce or tamari, a touch of honey, a squeeze of lemon juice, and just a shake of cayenne pepper.
