What’s In The Bag, Tues, Nov 6

Brrr! It’s a cold Election Day. Despite the chilly weather, we’re keeping our greenhouse warm and, as a result, have collected quite a bit of mushrooms! Enough, in fact, that all the Tuesday CSA members will be receiving some in their bags today. AND we have more left over to sell at market! Be sure to stop by the Chapel Hill Farmers Market at 3pm sharp to snag your delicious oyster mushrooms before we run out! We’ve been enjoying them in soups (Jennie made a miso) and casseroles (how about one with broccoli and rice?).

Be sure to add to your to calendar our next Granite Springs Farm & Community public meeting on Nov 19. We’ll begin at 6:30pm until 8:30pm. Join us at 266 Granite Springs in order to meet folks engaged in the project and hear more about this budding intentional community.

What’s In The Bag:

* Chard
